effects of salts on fruiting cubensis??

As above - any idea what effect an accidentally high salted casing layer would have on cubie fruits??

Want to try (or you may have "accidentally high salted your casing layer" :smile: ) ?
If you believe it can have an interesting result, I can try to salt a casing layer in a few days.
Salt holds water, and I'm not sure what could be the result in a casing layer...
It's a pity you didn't post in the advanced, cause your post may be lost in this forum.

yeah.. cuz we don't know that salt crystals absorb water......
I would have a guess and say that this may be bad, unless your casing was overly wet. Those little babies need water..
Tho I've thought more than once, that perhaps shrooms could be preserved with salt..
