ok so heres the deal, last spring i noticed a lil patch of mushrooms growing down the street from my house. apon further inspection and handeling i noticed blue brusing and that same sweaty sock smell that cubes have, but they obvously wern't. they grew no more than 3 in high and the caps were about the size of nickels. caps were colored like a metalic like blue/green {really trippy} and the stems were an off white with a hinht of the same green. they grew in this big patch of wood chips and were growing directly off them. so i collected a healthy handful and brought them home do dry them to see if they're apperence changed. while drying on a paper towel in front of a fan they produced a brownish {i think} spore print. when fully dry the stems were soo blue they looked black and the caps retained they're metalic green. i being stupid at the time was convinced that they were infact ative so i decided to take about 1-2 grams{like 9-10 lil mushies} well like after a half hour i didn;t notice anything so i pretty much gave up on it and went outside for a smoke. while out there i begain to feel slight ephoria but nothing too intence. it took them like a whole hour to start kicking in but when they did it was a very pleasurable body high. after that i picked up a bunch of em and had some of my friends try em all but one with positive results. i never got a chance to collect spores {wasn't interested at the time} and never saw them again. well today i figured what the hell and went down there to check for even myc, and thats exactly what i found. i sifted through litely and noticed the pleacent aroma as well id like to culture for an indoor experiment it but i dont want to use agar or anything like that. i was thinking of a LC but i wouldn't know how to combat the contam issues
any imput is GREATLY appreiciated

you can try a "ghetto agar" tek. mix up some flour and water and get a nice thick paste. make about a 1/6 inch layer on the bottom of a jar and boil or pc it for a short time. enough to get the flour to heat up and sterilize but not hot/long enough for it to turn to "bread". i've used this many times before as an agar substitute with great results (well it was hit or miss the first few times.).
to collect the myc try using a x-acto knife and cutting a small clean (dirtfree) piece then dip in some h2o2 (peroxide) for a few secs to help clean it a bit then drop it under the edge of the jar's lid and hope for the best. i've cloned a few mushies this way before with good results , and if you are lucky they might fruit in the jar.
remember tho since this "dough agar" is thick it will take a lil longer for it to fully colonize , than it would on real agar.
just my suggestion(s).
p.s. you could also try to dig up a large amount of the myc colonized dirt and plant it in your yard and hope they fruit in your yard.

hey thanx much i think ill try that then turn it over to a LC and then cut up a bunch of the bark chipps it was growin on pc em' then innoc and hope for the best. i dont think im even too worried about it fruiting yet, i just want a steril outdoor sample that i can colonize.
so i just use regular white baking flour? i think i have the unbleached too.
