Did he just say that?

Dude on SportsCenter just said "Has Tiger Woods surpassed Michael Jordan as the greatest athlete of a generation?"

WTF?

idk i think tiger woods is the "most dominating" athlete of our time. but i dont think hes an overall better athlete than jordan.

tigers most recent proformance was incredible. i think he was -3 to singh going into the last day.. and within 7 holes was up 2.. thats incredible.

Golf isn't not a sport.

He is not an athlete.

The guy who said that should be taped to one of those huge satelite dishes, and painted black, to absorb massive amounts of heat until he dies.

John Daly, an overweight alcoholic, was (is?) a professional golfer. This would not occur in any real sport in the world.

This was the Sportsnation poll question on ESPN.com today too...

I havent checked lately, but when I was at school earlier there wasnt a single solitary state that didnt think MJ was the greatest ever...

are u serious? lineman i mean, some are semi-quick. but most of them are fat bodies with upperbody strength. ur talkin about people whos average weight is around 300lbs.. i would never consider that athletic.

and u used 1 example. tiger woulds and many others on the tour are in excellent shape

It's pretty likely that the average lineman is more athletic than you.
The good ones are solid muscle, with a little padding around the muscle.

John Daly is a 300 lber, and he could never play football.
My friend's dad is also an obese alchoholic, and he's apparently amazing at golf.

Considering their size, yeah.

They can do more that they're supposed to with the body mass they deal with than you do.

You should walk up to an NFL lineman and tell him you're more athletic than he is.

If all it took to be a lineman was to be fat, it wouldnt be so hard to find a good one...

Those guys are ridiculously strong and amazingly light on their feet for their size...Watch a lineman on a sweep sometime, how they jump up and move out the edge of the line FASTER than a 200 lb running back, and then throw a 300 lb defensive end 10 feet onto his ass...

If you honestly think you could do that, my hats off to you....

tiger is still an amazing athlete and because his sport isnt a contact sport, he'll prolly play his game twice as long as other sports and end up making much much more money.

Longer than twice as long, those bitches play into their fifties.

And he makes 87 mill a year from Nike alone, I heard.
