what temperature does Panaeolus subbalteatus grow at and how potent is it , is it even worth searching for.

In the mid 50's to high 60's at night and 70's to 80's during the day. Also depends a lot on where you live. Yes they are worth searching for. They have the same potency in weight as cubes, not same number wise. Cubes are more meatier (esp. in the stem) and take less number wise than subbs to reach the same weight.
