hey, i need to buy a PC for the WBS method yet like no one has one so im gunna get one online from target, im using quart jars and i only need to do 2 at a time, so how many quarts does my PC need to be? also does it need to have the gauge thing, some dont

if their pasta sauce jars then go with one a little bigger, but if there quart canning jars u could probably get away with like a 8-10 quart pc. its the fact that the quart jars are so tall and you need nothing to be putting counter pressure on the underside of the lid so it can seal right. i woudl recomend taking measurements and then acually going to target and taking a look. tho i dont think they have as much selection at the store.you dont need one with a guage, tho its nice. i dont use one and it works just the same, but insted of a guage telling you what psi ur at you listen for a steam relese rocker to go off to turn it down.

well i went to target and they only had one,that was out of stock, so i cant really take measurements unless they have them on the website, ill look

I seen 8 quart Prest Cooker for $40 at walmart. It just doesn't look like one that small would be good for doing jars.... Too time consuming.
