I remember waking up poppin some shrooms smoking some weed and the njust as the trip set in I went to care for my first casing and wouldn't you know it, it had pins all over it. I can't wait to do my next bulk grow. Cheers!

Update:


Premature broken veil? Any ideas as to what caused this? The pin is only an inch or two..

I hope these pins don't prematurely open up too..

Anyone know what could have caused that veil to prematurely open?
Also, the mushrooms look kind of skinny.. What causes that? Could that just be the result of using BRF/Verm cakes as substrate?

could be lack of moisture in the substrate...

I would wait for the first flush to be about over, leaving the healthy pins in place,
I would dunk the substrate very well, drain it, and return it to fruiting conditions.
You could try injecting water, but I'm not a fan personally.
