Pressure cooker question

I went to canadian tire today looking to buy a pressure cooker and jars, and some birdseed,


The pressure cookers i looked at dont have a gauge, or say if they go up to 15 psi
what can i do
i read the whole manual and it diont say


please help

All pressure cookers have some way of assuring that a cerain pressure is reached and not surpassed.
Some of the ways are:

- a rocker


- a spring system


A gauge is allways coupled with some kind of a pressure releasing mechanism in case the pressure gets higher than the normal operating pressure.


In addition to the primary pressure release mechanism, there are several safety pressure release valves at each pressure cooker that assure that the pressure cooker won?t explode.

its 6 quart, and i bought some birdseed

how do i use my pc? do i just put water in it and close it? how much water?
also do i skrew the lids tight with filter disk b4 i pc or after?
how do i prepare the birdseed
i know how to but any tips guys?
