anyone kno about a tek for larger jars for WBS

i have a few pickle jars and my wife cleaned them for me cuz i want to make them WBS jars my others are almost dont so i want to have some more going with the camboian strain and the rest of this Panama strain. can anyone help?

I think you use the same mixture, just more of it. Also, I think you would be more susceptible to contams since it will take longer to colonize. I could be wrong, never tried it.

The larger the jar or bag, the less water content you use. You can't use the same moisture content for a gallon jar that you'd use for a quart. Pickle jars range from one pint to two gallon, so you'll have to get a bit more specific on your plans and filtering methods. RR

Can't you just soak, simmer, strain, load, and PC like normal? Im intrigued Pickle jars are pretty nicely sized

see the pickle jar maybe be like 2 - 3 pints its not a big one if that helps.

well, the pickle jar sounds pretty close to the size of a quart jar (2 pts = i qt). Just follow the tek for a qt jar prep and you'll be fine.
