two reasons, one.. you're a minor.. and two, you haven't read the faqs, or if you have, you're not paying close enough attention.

I am not a minor and the FAQ's do not say anything about casing PF cakes not that I saw anyway but I will check again more closley!!!!!!!

If your going to use a casing, you might as well go ahead and break up the cake into pieces in a tray and then put a 1/4- 1 inch deep casing layer on top of it using a peatmoss 10:1 ratio to hydrated lime. But if you dont want to go through the trouble of streilizing the peatmoss because it can contaminate easily if you dont add the lime and heat for 350 for 1 &1/2 hours, you can just take the pf cake and just sprinkle some moist vermiculite on top of the cake. Just use a solution of H2O2 and water to moisten the vermiculite with.:)bluhoney

You can case PF cakes.

several ways.

straight verm...... 50/50......Coco Coir.
many more....those are just 3 ways.

Ok I think Im going to use straight Vermiculite until I master that tek then move on to bigger and better teks!!!!!!!
