Growing on a boat

I need to relocate my growing chamber away from my house because I have have children at home. I am thinking about moving the operation down to my boat that sits in a marina. It has power and heat, but was concerned about mold. Has anyone else had any experience with fruiting in a boat?

I never recommend putting your grow in an unsupervised area, especially off premises. If something happens and they have to move your boat or access it for some emergency, you're going to have a hell of a time explaining what your little friends are doing there.
You have kids at home? So do most of us. Keep your grow discreet and away from children and you'll be fine. My children are not allowed to enter my bedroom without permission, so guess where I grow? Everything is either in a closed closet or somewhere else out of view.

I feel better reading this thread. I'm pretty new here and I thought I was the only nut with kids running around still interested in psychedelics. I get the impression that most of the posters who eat the mushrooms are 25 or younger, and the rest are living with their good memories. Just keep the growing chamber locked up.

Thank you! I did not consider this issue. And to think that I was worried about the mold. My wife will have to understand, or I will most likely need to grow enough for the year and shut down till next year.

I have an 11 year old daughter (who gets into everything) and a 3 1/2 year old son (who doesn't give me much time to "leave the farm") but I love this hobby and will just need to be smart about it.

Boats are usually open to inspection by authorities, if anything goes wrong at a marina. And, things do go wrong at marina's, like break in's, fires, fuel leaks, vandalism, etc.
You might considers one of these.
24 cubic ft upright dead freezer.
As an incubator / grow chamber.
Often found at appliance repair places FREE.
They can be modified & automated with a little ingenuity.
THEY CAN ALSO BE LOCKED
Which is nice, with kids around.
 Freezer fruits

this is something i've been considering for a little while... especially with a bun in the oven, that's ready to show up sometime in the next few weeks. it'll be interesting, but i've got time and the knowhow to create neat little hiding places.
