These ones don't look nasty at all. Although, I'm sure once harvested, the maggots of that fly in the 3rd photo hatch and wriggle all over, causing rapid decay. Mmmm, yummy kinda..

Wonderful MJ. I was curious if you collect prints and either trade them or just catolog and study them. When the time comes, I would like to aquire some prints from around the world, from your travels, to study under a scope. Nice finds as always
*does the rain dance* rain rain rain. I hope it rains for you, have a shroomery day,.

The print on the veil of the large mushroom is beautiful. Perfectly segmented with the orientation of the gills.
Great pics MJ

mjshroomer (and the entire hunting forum of experts),
Why do some psilocybe not produce spores?? Sterile shrooms?!
I've recently seen a lot of non-sporulating specimens here in Atlanta. I was wondering if lack of spores is a positive or negative trait. Do the print less mushrooms really have spores that are geneticly mutated, or perhaps CLEAR SPORES?( )
The gills never darken. I'm pretty baffled as to what this means, and if it's good or bad, and what it effects, if anything.
I've heard of this before, just never inquired as to the background/meaning of thsi effect.

Nice pics MJ. It looks like you are still doing pretty well with finds, even w/out rain.
