The Making of the English Working Class by E.P. Thompson. I read it long ago in grad school but had to rush through it, and will take my time this go through.

Ubik was the 3rd PKD I read. Really liked it. Very good. Very different from the first two I read(A Scanner Darkly & The Three Stigmata of Palmer Eldritch). Was amazed at how accurately and subtly he described regressing to earlier periods in time, even as time is progressing. I'm reading Now Wait For Last Year right now. I'm about 1/3 of the way through, and it's every bit as good as the other three so far.

Yeah, you'll like that one. I've read about twenty of his books and a few of his short stories, and I think he is truly one of the great American writers of the 20th Century. If you're into dimension shifting, I would look at Flow My Tears, the Policeman Said. Imo his best books comprise the VALIS trilogy.

Just finished My Life, The Autobiography of Geronimo, as Told to S.M. Barrett. Delightful book, all about Apache culture and his swashbuckling exploits.

Up next is The Saboteurs (An Isaac Bell Adventure) by Clive Cussler and Jack Du Brul

2061: Odyssey Three by Arthur C. Clarke

2001 can't be matched, but it's a fun sequel so far. I read 2010 years ago, and it was good, too.

It's crazy impressive the rate which you crank through books. If I can keep a rate of one a month I'm doing well.
