Yeah people have no idea how great a writer he was. A celebrated poet, too.

I wasn’t ever impressed with his works in literature.

It seems from experience that females are not typically into that sort of thing. That is not to disparage females, merely an observation.

Jack Kerouac - The Dharma Bums

Not sure I'd ever recommend but enjoyed reading it nonetheless

Jane Hawk series by Koontz.  All about the new world.  Never thought he could write without supernatural elements.  But he gets facial recognition and the Silent Corner.  Like when the name fits the book perfectly.

99% that feel they are living off the grid that do, they are not, just a silent corner. With the elite who have a lot of plans of their own.  It is fiction but a lot of what he brings up in it with it and modern technology, quite savvy.

Finished book 8 of the Expanse, Tiamat’s Wrath, last week.
So damn good, I can’t wait until book 9 comes out and wraps everything up.
Top tier sci-fi, that’s for sure.

Since then I’ve been rereading Hyperion.
About half way though with that.

Not sure if I’ll go on and reread the rest of the Hyperion series after I’m done of go check out “Revolution Space,” once I’m done.
