'Kitchen Confidential' by Anthony Bourdain.
Next in line is some work by William S. Burroughs. Any recommendations, as he will be a new author for me?

Man and His Becoming according to the Vedanta by Rene Guenon.
Also got a copy of Tragedy and Hope by Carroll Quigley, which I've heard referenced repeatedly by different people. It's an absolute TOME but good so far.
