it's hard to find any PKD that isn't a total mindfuck. i did a literary analysis on androids a few semesters back. gave me a whole new appreciation of the novel.

Nope, the only one I've read fully is Inherent Vice. I read part of Mason and Dixon a few years ago. I decided I was going to just read the rest of his books in chronological order.

Just finished Watercourse way - Watts and some other guy
Currently reading my own life as it comes. Page by page this story unfolds. In interesting ways, this life is told.

valis is great. read his exegesis or selections from the exegesis. it's essentially his journal about his 1974 religious experiences. crumb did a comic strip about the actual experiences too that's cool. if you're interested in any more of his fiction, my personal favorites are ubik, the man in the high castle and flow my tears the policemen said.
also, if you can get your hands on boom! studios complete translation of androids, read it and the back page stuff. exceptional. bill sienkiewicz did some of the covers for it.

i guess it's just a summer for comics. this got the eisner this year so i figured i'd give it a whirl. it's not the manhattan projects, elephantmen or east of west, but it's holding my attention. kinda comic-bookish for vertigo imo.
