I'm about 1/4 into that but haven't picked it up for some months. How far in are you?

I've finished it now. Not sure what I am doing to myself, reading this stuff. A meandering experience of thoughts, social interactions and human situations.
Getting into Louis-Ferdinand Céline's Journey to the End of the Night now. Allot easier to read.

Extra Credit for school.
Girl interrupted.
About a girl in a mental hospital. Very interesting. There is another girl in the book who set herself on fire and is a giant scar. Strange.

Just read Catcher in the Rye. It was a lot better as a young adult but still a decent read. Read it because I ran out of books.
Now I'm reading Notes From a Big Country by Bill Bryson.

Just finished HST's Hell's Angels now I am re-reading Milan Kundera's incredible The Unbearable Lightness of Being.

Clearly! What led you down that road, and to these Congo-related authors in particular?
