Alfred Korzybski - Science and Sanity
awesome work, first out out in the 1930s.
I probably wouldn't be reading it if Robert Anton Wilson had not been so influenced by him as to write about his work.

definitely check out Valis. It's the only Dick book I've read so I don;t know how it compares to his others, but I enjoyed it immensely. apparently it's more like a twisted autobiography than pure fiction.

Though, there's one I'd recommend to .. anyone who could handle it, "The Greatest Story Never Told: A Scientific Inquiry into the Fall of Man from a Higher Civilization in Antiquity" by Lana Cantrell. It's out of print, but you can find it on Amazon, I believe. It's quite long, but it's very well documented and a very good read.

THANK YOU for this recommendation, the information is phenomenal and a pleasure to read.

Cantrell's genius is impressive.
One of the sharpest minds of our time IMO.
