my friend won 500 dollars the first time he played a sratch off. he instantly became addicted to them and now spends like 10 bucks a day on them. he hasnt won anything else yet besides a few bucks here and there . im sure in the long run hes lost money so even when he does win a few bucks its not like making him 3 dollars richer... more like making him 3 dollars less in the hole from stupid lottery tickets... then only to waste the 3 dollars on lottery tickets he probably wont win with.
