Had a great session with my band today. We scored an 8-track digital recorder last week and we were able to record some awesome stuff. We got a really claen take of our first song we wrote together. And we wrote a new one as well. It doesn't get much better!

Cool... I didn't even know you were in a band. What do you play?

I made a couple songs yesterday. It's been a long time for me, I'd have to say it made me feel pretty good.

the joy of creation now that i think about it, is the greatest joy there is.

I made another song today... damn it feels good. I don't know why I ever quit!

Everyone in my family was asking my why I've been in such a good mood lately, I just told them "I've been making music!" :smile:

I play guitar and bass. Admittedly, I play neither one very well. I also sing a bit of back-ups and fill in on keys when needed. But I love it.

I actually write a lot, though. Although my playing skills are somewhat limited (I just started playing guitar a couple years ago) I am writing and arranging a lot of stuff. I really enjoy that creative process. I've been doing poetry my whole life and adding the music just makes it that much more satisfying to me.
