It plays old school nintendo games, sega, atari, N64, playstation.. basically whatever.... plus any PC game.
What more could you ask for?

xbox 360 if you like first person shooters and wait for the nintendo wii if you like mario type games

I would get a DS Lite for now and wait for Wii... At least then all 3 will be out and you can compare better, the Wii is probably going to be the most fun to play though. The only reason I can see for getting a PS3 is the new Metal Gear Solid and I've been a Sony fan for awhile, XBox360 seems good though if you like online games and FPS.

Besides who wants to play games on a PC isn't Nintendo going to have it so you can get the classics off the internet?

Any way around the issue of non-high-def for the xbox 360? I have a 32" tv to use for gaming...
Not wanting the wii and all the gizmos, not really online playing( if it comes with that, sobeit), just excellent graphics for my needs.

I would recommend that you narrow your choice down between the 360 and wii
Buying an xbox or a ps2 would just be reggression at this point, imo.

ps. my PS2 doesn't play any games or DVDs anymore.  Disc read errors all of em'  :thumbdown:

I'd probly choose a ps3, little big planet is cool, but idk if its worth not having the nice xbox controller. I have my computer for most other games anyways though
