Water in my .5 pints is it ok

i did four jars brf/vermiculite about 25 days ago everything looked perfect untill two nights ago the heater in my house broke and it got freezing cold at night , then the middle of the next day we fixed the heater and the temp went up and caused water to condence on the inside of the jar. they are about 90 done and i used b+ strain . will they be ok or will i have to start over . its my first time growing and havent read any post that talk about this .

It really depends how much moisture condensed, one could theorize that the moisture came out of the subsrate in the first place, and as such could be reabsorbed. Do you have a pic (no... i mean a pic of the jars) =]

Well I can see condensation on my jar too. However it never got real cold in my house. I've noticed that its mostly where the mycelium is strong. This is my first time though and they seem to be doing fine. I only had one jar contaminate. and it was fairly minimal. I hope they are ok.

mine are also almost all done , the bottom is the only part not done and a little on the edge , but i have to go on a unexpected trip tomarrow night , for exactly one week , does anybody have a thought on if i should leave them in the jars untill i get back or should i just try to case them early even though its my first try , thanks

leave 'em it won't hurt. i've cased with jars with the bottoms not fully colonized with success, but it's ok to neglect jars while it's not ok to neglect a casing.
