black spots, spore clumps?

I've inoculated some cakes 3 days ago, and now one of them has spore germination, but there are black dots on there that look like clumps of spores. They're surrounded by mycelium, but i dunno. The syringe containing the spores had clumpy spores in it. my pictures came out like shite, but they're more clumpy, and less fuzzy. I guess i'll just wait it out and see. Anyone ever get spore clumps in their cakes? They're acadian coast if that helps.
