How to use a pressure cooker?

hello, i am just about to start my shroom proccess, and have alomost all the things i need to start it. i just found an old pressure cooker in my kitchen, and was wondering if anyone can give me some advice on how to use it. i know nothing about it at all! does it matter what kind of subtrate i use, or what?? if someone could please help me out on this, it would be greatly appreciated.

yea i read that thread, but im still not quite understanding it, im going to go ahead and read it again though. ive heard that they are very very dangerous, and im afraid im gonna use it wrong, blow up my house :smile:

do you have any advice for the psi or anything like that?

Does it have a guage on it, or just a regulator (short cylindrical shaped weight)?

Yes I understand your concern about them being dangerous.

I also had that concern when i first started.

The tread that i posted had a pretty good description of how to use a PC.
So that is why i posted it.

If you are really worried.....look up the manufacture of your PC online and send away for a manual on your model PC.

Maybe you have a family member that knows how to PC.....tell them you are going to can some fresh fruit....lolz
