 best mushrooms for a first timer??

HI guys,
I am trying to grow some Mazatapec at the moment after having had no success thus far.
I was wondering which strain produces a nice visual trip for a first timer?.
Any other preferences, with their characteristic trip properties would be very much welcomed as well.

hey man.. i don't have any experience with mazatapec but i can tell you b+ is a pretty visual/speedy trip at least it was for me on a good dose. ecuadors are a nice trip, very beautiful flowing closed eye visuals from touch, especially neck, head and back massages. crisper imagery and not a huge headfuck. a lot of people i know say that it has very happy feeling to it.. i hate to compare it to mdma (i just did didnt i?) cus that's the last thing i want people thinking but hey it does feel very nice and gets you in sync with the vibe. i saw sasha and john digweed last night and 'shroomed there. the club was packed over 1000 people and nothin but good vibes in the house.. what a great feeling! i def recommend them. we should set up an e-bay like feedback system for different strains and leave our positive/negative feedback on each one. i give ecuador a+++++. peace

I think for the first time, it really depends more on your environment, company, attitude and expectations (and on how much you consume). I have always found that the 'magic' wants to make a suggestion, and that you can go with it and have a great experience or you can fight it and have a sleepless jaw clenching mind fuck. Which direction you unconciously (or conciously) choose often depends greatly your environment. This experience doesnt necessarily mix well with keg parties, cowboy bars or casinos! Regardless of how you do it, be with good people in a trusted environment! Have fun, and don't take it too seriously!

Cambodians are great for first timers.

Hi all,
I can't give an answer, But i can add a question. I've got Tassies nearly ready to pick and they will be my first trip. They are brf cakes birthed on perlite. Had a little trouble with the cold nights so i turned on my column heater to warm the room up, Worked great. My first fruits after growing heaps of contams. Any positives/negatives for these as a first time trip?.
