Targa's "Terrarium Toaster" Tek * 1

I'll be the first to admit that this isn't something that many people will build, but I still wanted to get my ideas out there for mass consumption.  I've read alot about heating, and it seems that most people use aquarium heaters.  Either in water in the bottom of a container, in a plastic container, or a glass container.  Well, plastic and glass are better insulators than heat conductors, so these types of containers aren't very efficient.  I estimate that the "Toaster" will probably use about 1/10th the electricity.  Plus, it's not messy at all.  Completely self-enclosed, it can be filled with automotive antifreeze, or distilled water, or whatever.  Copper is a great heat conductor, so this little baby really cranks out the heat!  My first choice was a radiator from a water-cooled motorcycle, and my second choice was a very small automobile radiator.  But since I didn't feel like hunting those down, I decided to make do with what I had around the house.  Here's some pics.  The Toaster, the Toaster inside a small, insulated terrarium used for incubation, and a close-up of the thermostatically controlled heater.

Nice job! I know from experience that it takes a steady hand
to do that much braizing, that close together.
Here's an idea you might want to consider.
If you added one more line, straight  above the hottest part of
the element, going straight up a little, then over to the other
resivoir, It would cause the heated water to rise and naturally
circulate the whole thing, keeping the water temp balanced.
Just a thought. Hell of a job though. I might construct
something similar myself.
