mexicana A strain yield report

3 liters of grass seed and 1,5 liters of water combined in a filter patch bag. Sterilised and inoculated with liquid mycelium on February 18th. After six weeks the harvest was 338 grams fresh.
There were plenty small sclerotia inside of the substrate so it would probably have produced plenty more when left undisturbed.

Looks like a 2 to 1 ratio of seed to water. A little different than your recipe on the web site. Do you now recomend the 2:1 over the 110gms to 160water? I am wondering as I would like to experiment with the mexicanas and Tamps. How did the plain rice turn out that you were trying with the mexicanas?

i work also with plain rice, or grasseed or a combination of both...but rice alone works good....2 days ago i harvested total 450 gm (including the small sized) from a 2.2 kg bag of rice....now the are pretty dry and weight is around 150 gm...now i want to plant a few big sclerotia for fruiting...
