Are Reishi grow gardens common in Asia? I remember stumbling upon one realy cool photo from a Reishi grow site. Might be able to find it...
Nope, no luck.
So MJ, what are your plans there? Why'd you go, who do you plan on meeting?

Glad you're having fun mj. Do me a favor if you will. Find out the humidity and air exchange they're doing on that reishi wall. It seems no matter how much air exchange/humidity I give, my G lucidum wants to grow antlers rather than conks. Grrrrr. Take a look at the lights too. Thanks man, hope your back is feeling better. RR

'Cat, here is a cool site that has a lot of information about reishii and others: http://www.mushworld.com/tech/view.asp?cata_id=1170&vid=5593 I get the feeling this may be the site you're talking about. Roger, have you checked out that site? There is updated information on cultivation, and they send out newsletters also. You mention FAE, the information according to mushworld cultivation, emphasizes the build-up of c02 during the formation of fruit bodies.
*oops, that link's gonna take you to login, I think you can still click on the species links to the left.

That reishi pic is wicked. I've seen some asian growers that grow oysters with the same techniques (stacked bags etc). very cool pic.
That first pic is going to be on the cover of this month's "Mushroom Aficionado" . MJ is Mr. August.

Laaaaame, I think there is a setting on most new cameras, that can be set to capture clear photos of people or things that are moving a lot, rather than standing still. But uh, I don't havea camera and know nothing about them, so perhaps someone more keen on the issue could give some advice?
Anyone?
