Can anyone out there please help me find a site where i can buy desicant in the best form for this use. I've searched some but im sure someone on these boards can help me faster and better then i could help myself. My casing's are exploding and i need a way to dry these out, I cant eat them as fast as they grow. Any help is appreciated as always, take it easy

Craft store, get Silica Gel Flower Drying Crystals. Be sure to fan dry first or the desiccant takes too long.

Just go to total Crafts and pick up some silica gel. It runs about 8-9 bucks. You can find it in the flower section with other flower preservation material. Damp Rid sucks stay away from it. It makes a mess. L8rs.

Use Epsom salt. You can get it at any pharmacy or supermarket. Dry it in the oven before you use it. Do a search of the forums.

This page has little individual packets that you can use for storage...once you've got your mushrooms dried. I read somewhere it is good idea to use an oxygen absorber packet along with the dessicant packet for long term storage..

http://www.drierite.com good dessicant, you can order it straight from the company, its pretty cheap, and you can "regenerate" it.
