Quick question on hw tek, (pic added)

hi all, i incubated 2 jars using hw tek and forgot to label them cause i was so high, however... the tek says to store it in the fridge, is the fridge sapose to be turned on? and if so how cold or what temp? thanks,

i think that you're suppost to put the jars into the fridge (turned on) after there is a good amount of mycelial growth, it increases their shelf life.

ok, i stored in a dark place at 80-90 degrees f, its been 2 days is this honey residue or mycelium? because i poured hot water threw honey in a coffie filter so i wouldent get residue

Grain Masters and letting other jars "catch" up to early colonizers are two good reasons I can think of .
