Newbie starting with mono tub need advice

I am just starting out with my first grow. I am planning on buying B+ spores and using grain based grow bags. I am wondering if I will need a humidifier of some sorts. Also how many CC's do I need to inject into each grow bag?

I also have read various posts where people put a tub within a tub with an aquarium heater in water below.....Would this need to be included in a mono tub set-up?

Welcome to the Shroomery!!
For your first grow, I would recommend reading the PF tek about 10 times, and when you think you're ready to start, read it again. Then use it as a practice run, or two. Basically, get your feet wet before you go leaping off the high dive so to speak. Not that spawning to monotubs is complicated or difficult, because it isn't, but the experience is crucial.
What size are the bags? The volume of substrate (grain, in your case) is going to determine the amount of inoculate.
If you're using the monotub tek, you won't really need a humidifier because they pretty much produce and maintain their own climate. At most, you might feel the need to mist/fan once or twice a day, but IMO they can be pretty much left alone to do their own thing.
Hope that helps some.
Peace.

Each bag contains 1 lb of substrate......do I need some sort of heater? Also when the grow bags turn white do I just cut them open and move them into the tub?

I second that. If you are doing what you say on your first try, you will likely fail. There is just too much experience to be gained by use of the tried and true PF. We say because we know, from trying the wrong way, too many times.

what i would do though is use the pf brf and such then spawn to horse poo in a mono tub that should be simple enough for ya just follow directions the only hard thing in this hobby is grains and moisture content of them that can be a really big bitch

So you are saying to inject the spores into the grow bags and when they turn white transfer that into a mono tub with horse poo?

I was also going to buy the 50/50 pre pasteurized horse poo.....I heard that I will need 5 lbs per grow bag is that correct?

The odds are stacked against you if you are starting off with grain bags. Using grains arent particularaly difficult, but there is a lot of info to study. With the PF tek, everything you need to know is all in one place.
I agree with xaxphaanes, spawn PF jars to Hpoo.
