Dream problems.

4/7 nights of the week I'll have the most vivid, in depth, and lengthy dreams. Whether or not I remember them, I wake up in the mood I was in during my dream, and it's difficult to shake off. I woke up an hour ago and I'm still in this dream mood. It kind of feels like it's calling me back, like I'm supposed to finish something in it but I just want to wake up and focus on my day! Any of you ever experience this? How do I put the dream behind me and my day in front of me?

I know what you mean. I start my day by watching something funny now. Usually the Daily Show. It makes me laugh and shakes the mood hangover if any.

Why would you want to do that? I have the opposite problem!

I sometimes wake up with the feeling of being in love, you can imagine the dreams But I'm a bit ambivalent about it, cause on one hand it feels nice, but then on the other I'm reminded each time that it was just a dream and I'm still without a girl Don't know what to do about it though. Kake's tip seems good. Or just smoke a lot more weed, you'll stop (remembering) dreaming

Same thing has happened to me before. I wish it happened more often though. Usually even when a mood from a dream sticks with me, it only lasts a few hours at most after I wake up.
Just a few days ago, I had a horrible dream about being in some kind of jail, only it was a weird sort of jail.. kind of hard to explain. I actually felt like watching a jail movie when I woke up, so I ended up putting one in. This dream left a feeling of gloom in me for a few hours. Sometimes, they leave good feelings, sometimes they leave feeling of regret - wishing that what happened in the dream really happened.

Those are the worst. There's nothing like being in love in a dream, a flawless and safe environment such as a dream. Then you wake up staring at a wall, ceiling, or pillow and you realize that everything that just happened didn't really happen.

That is very true. Like the dream I had last night, I can still remember what I was thinking in my dream; my actual thought process can still be recalled to this moment. It's so fascinating.

Yeah it is fascinating. Have you ever had a lucid dream? I was into it for a while and trained myself a bit. Being lucid is amazing, it's like your own virtual reality world. The only problem was dream recall, I got lucid quite often, but forgot a lot. I kept a dream diary, it helped, but was really hard to keep up. Smoking weed doesn't help either

Smoking weed helps me, it's when I recall most dreams. I haven't been able to go completely lucid yet though. I just can't seem to "wake up" and realize it's a dream. I can't do it. Even when I'm flying, it seems completely normal, like I've always been able to do it lol.
