http://www.cnn.com/2006/TECH/science/08/09/feature.invisibility/index.html

so its been in the news a few weeks. we have been allowed to see a piece of tech.

but it makes me wounder why we were allowed to see it, you would think the gov would have had this covered up to the hairy nuttsack chins.

then i had to wounder how long the gov has had this tech also....every tech piece ever to come to public has been in the gov's hands long before.

so now it had me woundering, the creeking in my house at night, funny noises, seeing things, ufo's, ect.....have they been studing us all this time? secret experiments.....and don't call me paranoid these fuckers have the ability to cloak themselves now...if you had that shit wouldn't you be using it???

Well, all it was talking about is microwave radiation, not gamma radiation. And the microwave radiation is what the device masked, not emmitted.

Also, i don't see the problem with the synthetic side of it.

BTW everyone, this technology can only slightly mask very large microwaves. We are nowhere near masking light waves, which are very very small.

"To do right is to know what you want. Now when you are dissatisfied with yourself it's because you are after something you don't really want. What objects are you proposing to yourself? Are they the objects you really value? If they are not, you are cheating yourself. I don't meant that if you chose to pursue the objects you most value, you will attain them; of course not. Your experience will tell you that. But success in getting after much labor what you really don't care for is the bitterest and most ridiculous failure." -George Santayana

By those standards you'd wind up ignoring almost all of modern applied physics.
