I have a chance to obtain some peyote seeds, and the person i'm getting them from says that you can make a tea out of them. I don't remember reading anything about peyote seed tea. Would it work? Can someone please enlighten me?

You can definitely make a tea out of them. It ain't gonna do shit though.
Personally I would hold onto them until I knew I was ready to handle growing some loph.'s.

Chances are the poster isn't even getting peyote seeds. They're a bit pricey, and ridiculously small. 10 poppyseed sized seeds are obviously not going to make anyone trip.
My money is on the idea that he actually got psychoactive seeds, and they were called peyote to make it more appealing. The reason this scares the fucking-bejesus out of me is because they could be datura seeds. There was a guy last year who got sold some "peyote cupcakes". Naturally, all the shroomery member's sirens went off as if to say, "not fucking possible". Originally we thought they were actually putting trichocereus skin in cupcakes. Then, it became clear (after hearing of the trips) that some cock was selling datura cupcakes as peyote cupcakes.
Be careful.

That would be quite a shock to expect Peyote and get Datura....
And ya, those seeds sound bunk. Make sure you look up pictures of peyote seeds before you give him any money.

They probably aren't peyote seeds, and if they are, you won't get any sort of buzz off them (if that's what you're interested in).
-------------------- I believe with the advent of acid we discovered new way to think and it had to do with piecing together new thoughts of mind. Why is it that people think it's so evil? What is it about it that there is scares people so deeply? Because they are afraid that there is more to reality than they have ever confronted. That there are doors that they're afraid to go in and they don't want us to go in there either because if we go in, there we might learn something that they don't know. And that makes us a little out of their control.

given the circumstances, I dont think that would be shocking atall.
This guy definately sould be expecting either morning glories or datura seeds. Maybe even HBWR seeds.
Im sure that if people have been making tea out of them they are not peyote seeds....ofcourse.

I think he was speaking of:
"There was a guy last year who got sold some "peyote cupcakes". "

ah.....ok
still wouldnt shock me given what I was talking about.
It also wouldnt shock me if the peyote cupcakes were anything under the sun except for peyote. If they were peyote, now that would shock me.
