Would like some opinions on lighting and coolmist pre-filter

Hello all. Couldn't find any relevant first person experiences in my searching, so I figured someone might be able to help.
1. For certain reasons, my martha is going to have to be moved from my 'clean' room, to another room with a carpeted floor, that I know has a little more trich and cobweb mold problems than other rooms in my house...So my idea was, although my coolmist (V400) has the prefilter on it, I am also going to put it inside a small sterite tub, with polyfill holes (most like a monotub design), so hopefully, the coolmist will be getting prefiltered air, which will then pass throught the coolmists own filter...therefore reducing my chances for contams in the martha. You guys think thats a good idea...anyone want to add/modify my plan?
I am already changing my usual habits of letting my trays colonize in the martha, I will now let them fully colonize, case, let that fully colonize, all in the 'clean' room, and only put the trays in the martha when fully ready to pin, cuz everyone knows a fully colonized tray is alot more resistant to contams.....
My other question was, in its old room, it got the steady schedule of 16 hours blue LED lights a day.....this new room its going to be in the lights get turned on and off throughout the day, and the TV is on at times......so, considering I leave the 16 hour scheduled blue LEDs, will this random lighting screw up my pinning at all? If so, I think im going to make a cover of heavy black fabric to cover the whole martha and block light.
Thanks alot for reading!!!

1. just use micropore tape over the pre-filter housing, forget about the tub.
2. most likely not. don't bother covering the martha. it needs to breathe. your light, whatever it is, is probably just fine.

Thanks MM. So you mean put the MP tape over the hole where the filter goes, or am I putting it over the actual filter also. I think I'll take your advice, along with the tub, for noise reasons, I just turned it on and remembered how loud it is.
Yea I think I'm just going to leave it uncovered and keep the 16 hours of blue LED's on, im just hoping the eratic light from the room and the TV wont screw them up.
Thanks alot for the responsee

take whatever crap that came in the filter housing out of it.
so it is hollow,
put mircopore over the outside of the side that points outward.
If my upload limit wasn't always full, I'd take a pic for you.
the filter should be removable from the unit. if it is, remove it, open it and take the material out, close it. tape over the outside of it. but only the side that is exposed to the outside air.
I think you get it...
don't worry about the light, you'll be fine.

Nothing needs to be sterile in a greenhouse-you want massive amounts of air exchange. If you fully colonize a casing, it will fruit poorly. Blue mood lights belong under your car. Your mushrooms will benefit from full spectrum lights, such as fluorescents. RR

Thanks MM and HC for the pics.
Thanks for the response RR, I know it doesn't need to be sterile, but there is a higher than normal amount of trich and cobweb in that room than others, so I figured I would try my best to keep my martha free of that. I didn't mean to say fully colonized casing, I meant when it is fully ready to fruit (going with hypheas pinning strat)....I know my blue LED's are something most shroomerites dont use, but I had them, and they've been working great since I started using them....I was just mainly worried about the erratic light pattern.
Thanks for the response!
