4 tier greenhouse not working well...

I have a 4 tier greenhouse with an ultrasonic and a fan connected to it.
When i have the ultrasonic on, it fills the whole thing with a thick mist. But the fan i have is so powerful, that it clears out all the humidity when its on. Should I put one of them on a timer? Or both?
I also am putting cakes AND hpoo trays in there. The cakes are growing but the trays arent. Too much humidity for the trays to grow? Any help would be immensely appreciated.

Cakes require near 100% RH as casings can should be maintained around 80-90% RH. Depending on where your humidifier intake is located you could move your casing to the top and cakes toward the bottom where heavy condensation sits from your ultrasonic. You could also replace both fan and ulrasonic with a cool mist humidifier and it will solve all your problems with RH control and FAE.

Hook up a cool mist and go from there . A cool mist is usually all I need for a 4 tier

ditch the ultrasonic
ditch the fan
get an IMPELLER COOLMIST like everyone else.
if you want their results, use the same equipment and technique they do.

Yep! like they said... Cool Mist, (impeller type)

Works Great, and you only need 1 per greenhouse.

Also note that greenhouses are not suitable for cakes which require humidity near saturation. Use a terrarium for cakes and a greenhouse for bulk substrates. Toss the ultrasonic in the trash where it belongs, or run it for no more than thirty seconds or so at a time, once per hour during pinset initiation as an alternative to misting. RR
