 unwilling salvia trip

So I was at one of my friends apartment, it was a small get together, we were sitting around in a big circle, probably about 8 of us or so, and we were trying out an new bong my friends got, (its a 3 footer with a massive 1 gallon bottom.) It was close to my hit and i bragged i would take the fattest rip of the night. However right before it was my turn someone loaded the bowl full of 20x salvia, I took a HUGE rip, took 3-4 tries to clear it, the first one was massive, within seconds i was tripping serious balls, i was terrified as everyone in the room broke away from me as i felt no connection to any of my surroundings. Everyone was laughing their ass of at what i was doing. I am not sure if people knew it was salvia, or if i was just tripping serious balls, but it was a very uncomfortable experience. it was not my first time with salvia, but still unprepared for the trip, it was very hard to control it. has this happened to anyone else? do i have a right to be pissed?

oh i would be kicking some ass as soon as i put my head back together. salvia and i don't do to well together. i have much respect for the plant, but it's just not for me.

a friend of mine had a oney with some salvia in it and thought it was weed.. so he hit it at work. he works at McDonalds..
he said he was in the bathroom and was shittin, so once he tasted it he tried to wipe his ass as fast as possible.. and then began trippin trying to say "O my god, im trippin in MCDs bathroom.." but he said it came out all "oh.. meg.. mcbaffrome"
but i usually dont remember all the babbling i do on salvia, so i think hes BSin me..

me and my friends used to do this all the time to eachother. it was a running gag. it was easiest to get someone if they'd been drinking. we used to do it all the time until the salvia ran out.
all you guys that are acting like this is the crime of the century need to chill out a little.

I would be pissed if somebody dosed me on salvia...or pretty much anything that you can smoke...I want to know that kinda shit.

Thats just horrible form and ettiquette. You never EVER give someone something without telling them what it is. For all you know they could have had a bad reaction to it in the past, etc, and if you'd just tell them you could avert disaster. Its not funny, its dangerous and irresponsible.
Glad you were ok bro, Salvia can be a very, very harsh mistress when you haven't given her some solemn meditation time beforehand to prepare yourself.

Extracts on leaf tend to be very dark in color. Almost what I would consider to be dark purple.
Normal salvia leaf is pretty green.........

20X from iamshaman is light green.
the crude 10X and 6X extracts are dark.
