Need helping wiring plug onto exhaust blower

a friend of a friend bought an exhaust blower the other day and the cable came separate from the blower. The cable has three wires (black, white, green) and the exhaust blower has only 2 black wires (with equal markings) and a short green wire conneceted to two small starnuts. No instructions came with the blower. If the black & white wires from the cable each went to a black wire on the blower, where should the green ground wire from the cable connect to the blower? I attached pics of the blower and cable wires. If anyone could help my friend out with this he'd greatly appreciate it.

By reading this, I got that you attached, the two black, hot together. The two white neutral, wires together? The green ground from the power cord, you just need to strip, and usually either attach, a female spade connector. Or a ring connector, and connect to the fan body, as a ground. Good luck

That's the problem, there is no white and black wire on the blower. There are only two black wires and they are identical in appearance and they are equally marked. What should I do? Thanks

If the blower is 120v the neutral should be marked with a goove or "Ribs" Along the wire. The Hot is USUALY marked with writing on it but this is a poor way to fine the hot.
It is a motor so it doesnt realy matter which wire you hook up it will work, but manufactures usualy differenciate Hot and neutral preaty plain and simple.
Good luck man
