Or not? Im looking for answers.
Depending on the answers, I will decide.
What the hell am I talking about? I will fully understand if this post is deleted. In fact I will be relieved, and will celebrate, possibly with a small dance. And then a chocolate raisin. Hell I want this post to be deleted. It's the kind of bullshit I despise but I see everywhere. Especially on the shroomery (( Here in fact. In this very room.
Disillusion is a horrible thing.

Are you suggesting that people look at things only in extremes? Only in black and white?

Astonishing! Where did you pull that one from?
I am suggesting that while "philosophising", most people merely spout bullshit.
I have friends who study philosophy, and most of them admit to being inept in proper philisophical debate. The amount of reading and knoweldge it requires to "philosophise" competently is vast.
My guess is that well under 1% of the shroomery population are qualified to argue philosophical points. There's no way that I include myself in that 1%, or anywhere near it.

Philosphical debates are gay, whether you know something or not philosphically is hard to determine sense the scape isn't black and white, like math for instance, math your either right or your wrong, philosphy is subjective logic, people can impose rules on it, but then it becomes similar to some inferior form of math, in which its training you to be more logical,

"Philosphical debates are gay"
You, my friend, are absolutely unqualified to do what you have just done, that is, attempt to comment on philosophy.
ie I refer you to my original post.

How u know,
I've used to be keenly adept in philosphical discovery,
all though it doesn't change my attitude towards it, I think its something tweakers do to get their jollies off as much as it is for academic nerds to express their superior understanding through imperical methods

Well then I have to ask: what qualifies someone to argue philosophy?
Reading essays and books by philosophers throughout the ages? Yes, that will certainly complement your ability to philosophize, but I don't think that others who aren't as well read are unqualified to debate philosophy. Everyone has to start somewhere, and even if you start with no knowledge of arguments and ideas put forth by others, you have your own experiences and your own ideas and conclusions you have drawn from your experiences.

That's true. I was a bit harsh. A cock, maybe. But still this begs the question, what do you mean by philosophy?
In my experience, the philosophers Ive met tend to be fairly smug and self-satisfied in their philisohpical prowess. While I am by no means saying that all philosophers enjoy destroying lesser pseudo-philosophers in converstation/debate, many of them would/do on a regular basis.
Shit, I don't even know what I meant anymore. Im going to stop talking now and go to bed. Embarassing.

...having said that
"How u know, I've used to be keenly adept in philosphical discovery, all though it doesn't change my attitude towards it, I think its something tweakers do to get their jollies off as much as it is for academic nerds to express their superior understanding through imperical methods"
I cannot accept this statement. I do not doubt that you used to be "keenly adept in philosphical discovery", but I would be very dubious whether or not this amounts to any form of philosophy. Sorry.
Again, I guess it depends on what your definitions are. To some people, playing "Three Blind Mice" on the piano might amount to being a Trained Classical Musician........
