Actually it was a while ago somebody posted the findings of a report sanctioned by the DEA or some agency into the tryptamine content of mycellium. They found no trace of psilocybin in the mycellium. We all know that that is inaccurate but in a court of law something like that could really help. Perhaps somebody who remembers this particular post could pipe in and give us the link again.

Didn't Shroomwizard get in some sort of trouble for selling mycelium syringes? I also remember a Canadian company selling jars of spawn. Too risky in my opinion.

Colonized jars are illegal...sorry And if they were legal.....you would pay an arm and a leg for them. Now that you know for sure....please stop asking people for colonized jars and mushrooms. This site is about learning.... none of us really do grow mushrooms.;) Now watch the moderator close this thread too....which he should.

Actually, they are only illegal if they contain psilosin or psilicybin. And since we all learned that that doesn't come along til the hyphal knotting stage(pinning) wouldn't that make them legal until they start pinning? Any tests done prior to pinning have turned up negative results, I'm not condoning this or anything because you would probably get in trouble but this is what the law states and this is what I have read. Spores are still easier to deal with and they're completly legal. Just me 2 cents, later

BUT even thought colonized jars may not contain and illegal substances it is still a felony if you are caught with them. The charge will be (in Minnesota) Attempted poss. of Psilicybin w/ (possibly) intent to sell or distribute. Level 4 Felony is not pretty in any state

Let's just pretend that it is perfectly legal to send colonized jars as long as they aren't pinning. Who is to stop law enforcement from letting them sit for a couple weeks before testing them to ensure that they do test positive? It's stupid to even consider it.

ShroomWizard's mycelium syringes had a contanamation problem and other issues. A friend of mine tried two. Shortly after he stoped selling them. I never heard of any legal action, but I also never heard of anyone that got the mycelium syringes to grow anything either.
