emergency, please help

i just finished loading the substrate into all of my jars and i planned on steaming them immediatly to sterilize the jars. but something just came up and i have to leave and i might not be able to sterilize the jars for a few days. is it ok to leave the jars full of substrate mixture sealed up for a few days until i have time to steam them? the water in the jars wont dry up? somebody please help, i dont want to waste all of these jars. thanks

If you leave the substrate unsterilized you will have molds and/or bacteria in a few days (unless you haven't yet added water to it)...Maybe you can try freezing them untill you return.

As esin pointed out, the substrate will grow green in a matter of day or 2.

Well.....you will just waste your substrate.

I had a left over jar that didn't fit into my pressure cooker....I had made too many.
So i did a little experiment.... I left the jar on top of my window ledge in my kitchen.
The jar got fuzzy white in a few days.

Pleezr and Joshua asked me why I was growing mold....lolzzz

i dumped all the jars out, so i guess i'll just have to wait till another day
