damn those orchids are nice the pitcher plant is a strange one. it seems to be a purpurea/psittacine hybrid, u dont see that too often
as for the datura, there are some variations in stramonium: http://pics.davesgarden.com/pics/poppysue_1020275436_118.jpg http://178.scifstore.com/pics/OhioBreezy-178_1124424980_578.jpg
i know the purple stripes in the center matches up with a stramonium that grows here, only the slight purple taint around the edges isnt familiar...

Sweet pics, man! Thanks for sharing. I really like that third picture, the floral colored cactus. What is that? And what is that you got grafted onto the Pereskiopsis?

topright one is a Pinguicula esseriana, a carnivorous plant. this one is about an inch in diameter and those little dew drops u see are glue for catching bugs. the tobacco is N. tabacum, and the graft is an Ariocarpus.

That's a trip! How old is that graft?
I read an account of poppy harvesters walking backwards thru the rows using a tool that looked for all the world like a birds foot leaving 3 marks on each side of the poppy like Hanky said about 1mm deep. I tried this but still cut too deep so that when the pods dried the seeds fell out the holes

Has the growth rate of the williamsii increased at all? Do you plan on sampling their potency?

lol hell yeah, the seedlings i have left are still smaller then the 1 week graft:

im not sure about using them yet. i only have a couple of grafts so far and itll be a long time before these are big enuff for a dose. more likely ill end up not wanting to kill em and order some pre killed ones online or something. but the peyote experiance is definetly on my to do list...
