rye spawned to hpoo question

two days ago i mixed 4, 8"L X 3"W X 4H", alum. bread pans full o' hpoo with rye berries. i checked them today and they are colonizing really aggressively . im leaving for 4 days, 3 days from now. i was planning on leaving them in the incubator till i get back. will they be ok for that amount of time even if they are fully colonized before i leave? is there any detrimental effects to leaving a fully colonized tray o poo in an 86 degree incubator for 3 or 4 days?
one other quick question...when i was spawning i think i mixed cambodian rye grain with B+ rye grain by accident in the hpoo. what can i expect to come from these pans with both kinds of mycelium? thanks in advance.

you shouldn't have them in an incubator from what i understand. When spawning to a bulk substrate, the heat it generates on it's own combined with the heat from the incubator will be too much and you risk hurting it. if i am wrong then i am sure someone will correct me though, so lets wait to hear from a real pro.

yea, on there own they stay at like 82. i have a remote therm/hygo that i have been keeping an eye on to try and keep it closer to 86. i just dont want it cooling off to the point where it might trigger pinning.

As CantiSama stated, you do not want to incubate bulk substrates. The nitrogen content of bulk substrates are usually pretty high resulting in heat generation during colonization. Recommended temps are 68-74 degrees. I've fruited in between all these ranges with excellent results.
Your second question on mixing two different strains is really a "let's see what happens" type. There really is no way of knowing what will happen. I have seen some people fruit multiple strains from the same substrate, but one strain almost always dominates the other. The second scenario is that one strain will see the other as a contaminate or competing organism and attempt to colonize it.
Again, nothing set in stone here. Wait and see.

Lower temperatures is not the only pinning trigger. Fresh air exchange probably plays the most important role in pinning, not temperature. Also, the outside air will always be lower than the colonizing substrate when you're doing bulk.
Temperatures will play a much more significant role when the substrate is fully colonized.

i see, thanks. that wasnt really my question. i want to know if fully colonized hpoo will be ok if left for 4 days after colonization. they cant overlay, right?

Overlay is less common during colonization of the substrate and more so during colonization of the casing layer. Your grow should be fine for 4 days.
