PF jar in fridge full of condensation?
    #5963327 - 08/14/06 04:39 PM (17 years, 5 months ago)

I just noticed today.. I have a few PF jars that I'd been storing in my fridge for some time now after being PC'd. I had read that they keep for a good while so long as they've been sterilized. However today I looked at them and I noticed that all seem to be full of condensation. Is this ok? Has anyone else stored PF jars like this before?

Any advice at all would be helpful. I doubt its a moisture problem, since I was actually kind of worried that the jars would be too dry (they were made from the last scraps of verm and brf I had at the bottom of the mixing bowl, so the consistancy is a little drier than it should be).

i've had some jars that i put into the fridge, and they did the same thing. I just put them out in room temp, and inoculated with a little less LC. They turned out great, and colonized fast to boot.

Aight cool, I was hoping it was just the little bit of water clinging to the sides because of the temp in the fridge. Thanks! Was worried that I wasted an hour's worth of pressure cooking, haha.
