Durring my morning stroll through my yard in search of the yummy, yet gastrointestinally unsound Agaricus Campestris, i stumbled upon a different mushroom. thanx to an updated webcam, my pictures are much clearer than previously, ensuring better identification accuracy.
Spore print: purply-black
Gills: alternating and connected, but i dont know the difference between adnate and adnexed, so thats a mysterious mystery.
Gill color: a purply blueish white....if that helps....
Cap and stem color: white with tinges of mushroomy-brown.
Cap: smooth, no nipple, somewhat wavy.
Veil remains: Present and very obvious.
the specemin that i found has to be the largest one in my yard, measuring a decent 2 1/4 inches tall with a cap 1 1/2 inches across.
thanx for the help, and happy shrooming!

And i just thought this was awesome, so.....

My first thought on this one is an Agaricus.. because of the shape, size, habitat, and ring on the stem. Those characteristics seem to fit for Agaricus. The gill attachment is hard to see in the picture though. Are the gills totally attached to the stem, or is there a small gap between the stem and gills? If the gills are totally attached, it could be something else. Not 100% sure on this one.

Agaricus species don't all have red or pink gills, they can be brown, blackish, purple brownish, etc. Perhaps Stropharia is another possibility.
