Storing 100% colonized jars in frige

I got a couple of jars playing "catch up" and I would like to spawn all at the same time
I was planning to wrap the jars with foil 3x and stick them in my frige which ranges in temp from 35-40F.
Most posts I read, people mentioned they used foil and saran wrap, but I dont have saran wrap, so I was wondering if I could just use foil with experiencing any contams
thanks

That will be fine because they should be filtered anyway. There is no need for the foil. Just use as soon as possible. They won't maintain their vigor forever. RR

Wether it was luck or not, I had a few dozen quart jars of popcorn of various strains sitting in a closet 75-80F for about 6 months that I half forgot about/didnt need....I uncovered them and spawned each to poo, worming casting, and a mix of both.
Every jar colonized just as a fresh jar would, accept for a few days in the begining where the myc wouldnt transfer to the new substrate right away, Im guessing it needed a day or two to 'realize' it had some new nutrients to eat.
total colonization time was about average, and total yeild was about average also. Potency also was on Par.
The corn substrate was shruken quite a bit, each quart shrunk down to about the size of a pint, and a few jars had about 2-3 mm of myc piss at the bottom.
It was just a test for me, I didn't think it would work at all, I thought once the myc ran out of nutrients, it would die.
I'm not sure wether to contribute this to pure luck, or if this is a normal occurance that jars kept in the dark at 75-80F will keep for 6 months.
Also note, I crumble/cased one jar by itselt, and obviously got no myc growth, and no fruits, telling there was probably less than 1% nutes left, if any at all, in the corn.

RR, thanks, they should be in the frige no longer then a week What do you think is the longest I could keep them in there for, without the spawn losing vigor?
Spookersrhoom, That is an amazing story IME shrooms could be very resilient organisms, especially once they have become spawn, they are DIEING to GROW lol

I recently pulled some jars out of the fridge after a year, and they grew, but not well. It's going to be hit or miss. Test tube slants with a piece of wood in them and kept at 35F will store for five years without losing vigor. They will need a week or so to rejuvinate, but then seem to grow normally. RR
