Ive seen a lot of these threads about trippy movies and although i see some good ones theres some other ones which never seem to get mentioned,at least in the ones ive seen. In no particular order they are
Dark City, Mario Brothers (havent actually seen it in along time but im sure it would be trippy) Ninja Turtles 1 or 2 Transformers Movie Barbarella Wizards FRITZ THE CAT! Kids in the Hall Brain Candy The Big Lebowski Akira The Point The Tune Witch Hunt (I havent seen this one in a long time either but its a really weird one) Easy Rider Redneck Zombies (if you can find it) And if you really want to fuck your mind theres Rock and Roll Highschool
Thats a pretty wide selection of genres there.

Oh come on, as much as Ninja Turtles kicked ass, it was as trippy as newly paved cement (I'd like to say the same for The Big Lebowski, but, through some cruel universe, I haven't seen it)
Anyway, I'd like to add Cat Soup and Ichi the Killer to the list

They should replace the textbook definition of action and just put in Ichi the Killer

Perhaps not the first Wizard of Oz but I can vaguely recall a second one that was just...trippy
The only thing I remember is that the lead child star got into a fight with some sort of cave (like it had a face that could shift back into the walls) and...yah

No, the stone wasn't a giant rock human thing, but rather infused into the cave
Never Ending Story was quite fantastic, until the sequels brutally gangraped the series
