Birth to First Harvest
    #595792 - 04/01/02 06:45 PM (22 years, 8 months ago)

I've got 9 half pints of PF substrate. It's been fully colonized and sitting in an incubator for about 2 days now. If I birth them tommorow, is there any possibility of there being enough fruit to trip by next wednsday? (8 days grow time). What can I do to increase my chances of having enough/any at all?

With the experience i have had (very little, first time for me) i dont think it will happen. I waited almost 2 weeks after my cakes were fully colonised and even after i birthed it still took a bit more than a week to have enough harvestable mushies to trip on.

The answer is the same as it was yesterday when you as a slightly differently worded version of this same question. The answer is no. And it will be the same if you ask again tomorrow.

All you can do is be patient and wait. No one can give you a precise answer as there are far too many variables. Just wait it out. It will be worth it if you do it right.

You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity. What one person receives without working for another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for that my dear friend is the beginning of the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it. ~ Adrian Rogers
