It very well could be just a tiny peace but if you want to get more deep maybe our universe is just a nutron of a small atom and we are part of some really big ass things toe nail.

Since we can only work with what we can see and we can see that everything is getting farther apart from everything then there is only one thing we know of that makes everything get farther away from everything and that is an explosion.
Sure there are other possibilities like you stated and that is what is keeping this a theory, but everyones random ideas are based upon possibilities and if you like possibilities you may as well believe in god.

What if something is pulling them out, the "big magnet ring" theory ?

That one is new to me, that would have to be one tremendously powerful magnet but how would a magnet pull a sun and gaseous planets and then again since planets are formed by particles getting caught in the suns gravity and getting pressed together the magnetic field pulling the universe apart would disrupt the planet development possess.

I don't know, I just made it up.
How would an explosion be big enough to expand the universe for billions of years?

Well considering that if the sun blew up it would blow every planet and even reach Pluto in just its very beginning stages of supernova a huge huge huge every planet sun etc all into one peace that is one powerful explosion.
And as for how it has continued to expand for ever, If I went to space and threw a marble by hand and there was nothing in space to get in its way, then I hopp in a time machine and travel 2 billion years in the future and found the marble it would still be traveling across space, because there is no gravity and nothing to ever stop it from moving because it technically isn't moving.

the expansion of the universe may be an artifact as part of it radiates and rages through another part of it: the totality of it may be contracting and expanding at the same time, allowing for a complementary aspect that receives the expansion, probably this involves dimensions that we are unable to detect at this time. our minds are much more limited than the universe

We know the universe is expanding because of the blue shifts and red shifts. It's actually pretty concrete evidence that it is indeed taking place. Wow, I'm glad I got over that trip. It was just a very confusing and dark experience.
I ate 1 1/2 grams of Golden Teachers (the night before I had taken 2 grams) and felt nothing because of tolerance so I called my buddy and asked him to spot me a few caps. I ate two more Costa Rican Cubensis (about another gram). I tripped for about 10 mins, and then I started to wonder about life. I felt no euphoria, I began feeling lonely. My good friend called and told me she had run over her dog with her car and she was hysterically crying and it sent me into a even darker place. I told her couldn't handle hearing the story or talking anymore and she was even more upset. I couldn't even re-center or calm myself. Then I began finding flaws in everyday theories (ie. the universe question) and although it didn't effect me I couldn't get past it. That was not fun.

"Back in the 1920s, when Einstein was developing his general theory of relativity, he introduced a constant, known as the cosmological constant, to explain his idea of a static Universe.
Einstein's equations predicted a Universe collapsing under its own gravitational force, whereas observation showed it clearly was not contracting.
The cosmological constant represented an inherent pressure or force associated with free space, which would be resisting the gravity-drive contraction.
The concept was later abandoned when observations showed the Universe to be expanding - causing Einstein to label the cosmological constant as "the greatest blunder of my career".
In 1998, a form of the constant was re-habilitated when it was found that the Universe's expansion was actually speeding up. "

Hehe...Amanita muscaria IS fly agaric.
Maybe the universe never expanded, maybe spacetime has just been shrinking and coalescing into localized points of density.
Maybe the universe has always been infinite, and the expanding theory is just a way to explain what we can observe in our localized piece of infinitum.
Either way, it's the dream of a butterfly. So who cares
Heh, I meant death caps.

Oh, that's true. The vast majority of the universe is composed of nothing.

to me that's a pretty easy question with an obvious answer. When you get bigger from child to adult where do you expand into? Obviously empty space is infinite and only noticed once occuppied with matter. if questions like that drive you insane be careful with amanitas they can surely put you in the depths of many others quetsions that are far more intense and insane.
