perhaps if you were doing a crude extract of the alkaloids in mushrooms, but no use as far as i know for cultivation. hydrocloric acid is obviously an acid and pulls things out of.. things.

No. Hydrochloric acid does not have any use in cultivation.
It is used to lower ph in chemical applications.
Why would you think it would be used in mushroom growing?

Well, I kind of meant EVERYTHING actually. I looked it up on the net, and found it was used for lots of things, but it's an acid, so it should AT THE LEAST lower some PH, but if I used that in my water to lower the PH levels, will it burn/hurt my fungus?

You need to do a bit of study. This is the advanced mycology forum, not beginning cultivation. We don't lower ph for mycology, we raise ph with lime. RR

It can be used in cultivation. hydrochloric acid tek v. 0.187 day 1: Inject your spores into your substrate. days 1.5-19: You put some hydrochloric acid in an empty plastic bottle, and insert a few pieces of rolled up aluminum foil, cap, shake, and throw somewhere you don't mind a brown spot on the grass. It blows up, you laugh. repeat for 20 days until your substrate is colonized. day 20-ish: Birth your substrate. Day 20-ish.5 - 27-ish: You put some hydrochloric acid in an empty plastic bottle, and insert a few pieces of rolled up aluminum foil, cap, shake, and throw somewhere you don't mind a brown spot on the grass. It blows up, you laugh. repeat for 7 days until your substrate is fruiting.

it has no real uses in mushroom cultivation.. but if you can find some lye (sodium hydroxide) you could order some san pedro incence online and do a nice little mescaline extraction while you wait on your substrait to colonize LOST
