Yeah my friends moose has some growing and he says that the mycelium has covered the jars but he can still see the subtrate. He asked me to ask you guys if his jars are fully finished or not. Please reply...the moose won't stop bugging me.

Growing what? (Species?)

Some mycelium is whispy and thin and it wouldn't be abnormal to see the substrate underneath.

I would give the moose a smack on the nose with a newspaper and tell him to be patient for a couple more days while your jar finishes off.
